Resumes are valid for up to one year from the date received. Applicants must reapply after the one year time frame in order to be considered for employment. Resumes will be reviewed as positions become available. After reviewing resumes, the most qualified candidates will be invited to participate in an interview process.

MCEMS offers moderate call volume 12 and 24 hour shifts positive work environment new equipment such as Horton ambulances, Life Pak 15s, Lucas CPR devices, McGrath video intubation equipment, Stryker Power Pro Stretchers, and Stryker Power Load Systems.

Qualified candidates must possess either a valid EMT/Paramedic certification and/or National Registry EMT/Paramedic certification. In addition, applicants must possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record. ALS and BLS providers are required to maintain the following certifications: CPR and Emergency Vehicle Operations Course (EVOC). Als providers must also maintain PEPP/PALS, ACLS, and ITLS/PHTLS or the WV accepted equivalent. Applicants must be reliable, professional, and possess good verbal and written communication skills.

BLS Pay Rate: $16.50 per hour

BLS FT Salary: $44,616 based on a 48 hour work week

ALS Pay Rate: $23.50 per hour

ALS FT Salary $63,544 based on a 48 hour work





Full Time Employee Information:


Full Time employees generally work 2–24 hour shifts per week and overtime is paid after 40 hours per week. A part-time employees rate of pay will not decrease upon accepting a full-time position.
